Unveiled at the Ecomondo trade fair dedicated to the green and circular economy, the new model is offered in van and cab models with up to 5.6-tonne gross vehicle weight and up to 19.6m3 cargo volume and is aimed at urban fleet operations including door-to-door distribution and passenger transport.

The latest Daily Electric brings a number of benefits over its predecessor including reduced energy consumption thanks to high-efficiency, low-weight electric auxiliaries, and improved battery life, increased by up to 20%. The new model also brings an increased payload capacity of around 100kg.

The model also brings an official NEDC range of up to 280km. Two driving modes are offered – Eco and Power – and drivers can also select from different braking modes under the new Regenerative Braking system.

The new Daily Electric is also equipped with a pedestrian acoustic alert system as standard, which is activated automatically when driving at speeds of 0-30km/h.

Inside, the new Daily Electric is equipped with a 7-inch detachable tablet and an electronic dashboard for vehicle data management, while a tailor-made navigation solution is provided under partnership between Iveco and TomTom and provides a semi-integrated dashboard dock.
