The pilot – located at www.besteleenbestelwagen.nl – is being launched in the Netherlands with the Mercedes-Benz Citan and in cooperation with the local dealer network.

Mercedes-Benz Vans said: “This new online platform will regularly offer limited numbers of vans for sale. Vehicles are delivered no later than seven days after the order has been received and, if required, right on the doorstep. Customers are notified if the vans on offer have sold out. In such a case, they can put their name on a waiting list. They are informed as soon as new offers are available.”

Online purchasers can save up to 15% on the monthly payment instalments for a van.

In the initial pilot phase, the Citan van will be available on the online sales channel in a fixed equipment configuration and with a valid 48-month service leasing contract with an annual mileage ranging from 20,000 to 40,000km. The leasing contract comes with a comprehensive service package consisting of insurance, warranty, maintenance, repairs and breakdown assistance.
