By / 12 years ago / News / No Comments

The increase comes as Hyundai Motor Europe reports a sharp increase in non-private sales, which rose from 119,000 to 193,000 units between 2010 and 2012.

The company has also established a total of 430 dedicated fleet dealerships across Europe and the new i-best used car programme, with Mr Lajara having played a key role in both of these.

The Hyundai Motor Europe Fleet Department has also increased its profile significantly in recent years, with its European head office personnel having risen from 3 to 11, while its local fleet managers have increased from 12 to a total of 36.

Mr Lajara was previously head of fleet sales at EurotaxSchwacke GmbH and was also a senior key account manager Asian manufacturers. He also has experience at Sixt AG and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

In his new position Mr Lajara will report directly to senior vice president and COO Allan Rushforth.
