Peugeot has appointed Adam Wood as its new managing director in a trio of new management appointments.

Adam Wood replaces Julie David as Peugeot’s UK MD

Wood replaces Julie David, who is moving into the position of managing director of Stellantis Premium Brands. He first joined the group in 2021 as marketing director for Vauxhall and previously held multiple roles at Renault Group, progressing as a graduate to take on a variety of positions, culminating in Dacia brand director.

Wood said: “The Peugeot brand is going from strength to strength, and I am excited about our potential. Peugeot will be launching five electric vehicles in the next two years, and it will be great to play a part in bringing these to UK drivers. I’d like to thank Julie for all her hard work and wish her all the best in her new role.”

Kristian Cholmondeley has also joined Peugeot as marketing director, having previously held a range of roles across the Stellantis teams. He most recently served as head of PR for Alfa Romeo and DS Automobiles, and replaces Steven Wass who has recently been appointed sales director for Vauxhall.

Finally, Sam Brandon becomes regional operations and sales director at Peugeot. His background includes a wealth of positions under the FCA umbrella, most recently as national sales manager for the Alfa Romeo and Jeep brands in the UK.

All appointments are effective immediately.
