TTC appoints Ian Snadden as senior global business leader

Road safety company TTC Group has appointed Ian Snadden to join its team as senior global business leader, further developing the growth of its public sector and corporate businesses.

The non-executive role will see Snadden work with TTC’s Board and Senior Management Team, drawing on his significant business background.

It follows his recent appointment as president of Aerospace & Manufacturing, a $1bn global business unit within Stanley Industrial, a strategic business group of US public company Stanley Black & Decker (SWK). Snadden first joined the company as chief commercial officer in July 2020 and led strategic marketing and commercial excellence across its five business units.

He also previously served as president of electrical products at Honeywell, where he led the turnaround of a $350m global low voltage electrical products Business Unit. During his tenure with Honeywell, Snadden held several president and general manager positions within Honeywell’s Industrial Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Scanning & Mobility businesses.

Before joining Honeywell in 2013 as part of the acquisition of Intermec Technologies, he was VPGM EMEA. Snadden also served as vice president & general manager, systems & technology UKMEA at Unisys Corporation having spent the first half of his career within sales and sales leadership positions of increasing responsibility within the Information Technology sector at DEC, Compaq, Unisys & Fujitsu Siemens.

Commenting on Snadden’s appointment, Jim Kirkwood (pictured), CEO, TTC Group, said: “I worked with Ian when we were together at Fujitsu Siemens and was able to observe at close hand how well he led that business to continued, sustainable growth year after year.

“Having watched Ian’s career flourish within other leading corporate businesses, I am delighted he has agreed to join us to work with the TTC team to further enhance our management capability and to provide input and counsel, as we seek to continue the growth story within the UK’s leading driver risk management business.”
