Already available in San Francisco and Munich, the service is named On Demand+ in Beijing to reinforce its premium approach but offers the same format of enabling customers to book and pay for Audi models, which are delivered and picked up again by drivers.

The service is billed by the hour with time periods between four hours and 30 days on offer. The all-inclusive rate covers unlimited driving mileage and insurance. Vehicles on offer include Audi sport models as well as long wheelbase sedans.

The service operates in an area covering some 150 square kilometers, which contains the CBD business district.

Audi is looking to further expand the service to major medium and large-sized cities across China to form a regionwide mobility service network within the next years.
