Based on the company’s UK system, the system assesses risk by evaluating a driver’s attitude, knowledge, concentration and observation, and hazard perception skills.

‘We’re delighted to launch a Republic of Ireland system,’ said Graham Hurdle, managing director. ‘There has been a lot of interest from Eire in our systems, and we’re thrilled to now be able offer companies with cars, vans and HGVs a system tailored to Irish road laws and driving.’

Also on offer is a portfolio of e-driver training modules covering a whole host of topics, such as rear end collisions, parking and manoeuvring, vehicle checks, mobile phones, speed awareness and so on.

‘This new Irish system will provide an excellent tool for our UK partners who manage, lease, insure or provide driver training to fleets in the Republic of Ireland,’ added Mr Hurdle. ‘We can also offer it directly to any business in Eire looking to assess and train drivers online.’
