By / 11 years ago / News / No Comments

Introduced as part of the firm’s strategic consulting services (SCS) capabilities, the suite consists of the following tools:

  • Real-Time Benchmarking – Allows fleet managers to access benchmarking data for more than 800,000 fleet vehicles
  • Fleet Optimization – Fleet managers can quantify and prioritize 40+ cost and performance improvements to evaluate and optimize their fleet’s performance in real time
  • Cargo Rationalization – By taking into account vehicle selection criteria, GECFS fleet customers can rightsize their fleets and identify the appropriate type of vehicles for the job

The tools build on the skills of the firm’s team of SCS consultants, which have helped GE customers identify more than $1.6bn in potential cost savings over the past five years.

‘These tools, in addition to our customized personal approach to the needs of our customers, aim to further optimise fleet productivity and cost savings,’ said Ken Johnson, managing director of strategic consulting and fleet management solutions at GE Capital Fleet Services.
