Fiat has revealed its new Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback SUVs ahead of their global release later this year.

The Fiat Grizzly will be offered in traditional and Fastback SUV-coupé form

The bigger sibling to the Fiat Grande Panda will be offered in traditional and Fastback SUV-coupé forms.

Olivier Francois, Fiat CEO, commented: “Grande Panda marked the return of Fiat to affordable family movers. With Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback, we’re completing this line-up with two vehicles designed around different needs, different lifestyles, but sharing the same idea: smart, accessible and rooted in Fiat’s design DNA.”

Francois said the two new models would bring the Italian carmaker – classed as a core global brand in Stellantis’ new plans – back at the heart of the family mobility market “with a complete and coherent line-up”.

Built on a shared global platform, the Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback will have “two distinct personalities, one global vision”.

The Grizzly is a “versatile, spacious and approachable SUV, naturally suited to family life — from everyday urban use to longer journeys”. Its more upright, compact proportions maximize interior volume and practicality, especially in height and cabin space.

The Grizzly Fastback gets a sleeker look for a “more dynamic and sophisticated spirit, with a sleek silhouette and a more refined, expressive look and greater longitudinal cargo capacity for longer trips and lifestyle-orientated use”.

Both will have a compact footprint of under 4.5m and will “set a new benchmark in practicality, offering exceptional interior space and a best-in-class boot capacity”.

They’ll be offered with a range of powertrains from the Stellantis stable, ranging from petrol to full electric.

Exterior design will deliver a “strong presence and distinctive LED signature” while the interior will “elevate the in-car experience through refined interiors, attention to detail, and technologies designed to simplify everyday life”.

The Grizzly family will be released in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in the second half of 2026.
