MG to dominate 2026 Great British Fleet Event with triple showcase
MG Motor UK is set to lay down a marker for the future of business motoring at the upcoming 2026 Great British Fleet Event with a hat-trick of vehicle unveilings.
Heralding one of the brand’s most significant fleet showcases to date, MG will be at the show with a trio of new models: the all-new S9 PHEV, the versatile S6 EV and the futuristic IM5.
Delegates arriving on 16 April 2026 at Arena MK, in Milton Keynes, will be greeted immediately by the MG IM5, which will take up a commanding position at the main entrance.
Serving as a high-tech welcome to the UK’s top fleet decision-makers, the all-electric saloon will showcase MG’s ‘Intelligent Mobility’ philosophy.
With its 800V architecture and a projected range of over 440 miles, the sleek executive fastback is designed to prove that long-distance electric travel and premium styling are now within reach of corporate car schemes.
MGS9 PHEV: MG’s first seven-seater goes low for BiK & high for versatility
Inside the main hall, the star attraction for those requiring maximum versatility will be the MGS9 PHEV.
On sale now from £34,205, the brand’s first-ever seven-seat SUV delivers a spacious and versatile interior with three rows of seats, along with long-distance practicality and an array of luxury equipment.
As such, MGS9 PHEV will address a significant gap in the electrified fleet market.
By offering a fully-electric range of 62 miles, the S9 PHEV sits in a highly favourable Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) tax bracket.
The MGS9 PHEV provides a genuine family-sized vehicle that remains affordable for employee benefit packages.
The MGS6 EV: A new fleet premium all-electric player
Fleets attending GBFE 2026 can also experience the MGS6 all-electric EV first hand.
Positioned as a major contender in the C-SUV segment, the family-friendly S6 EV is expected to be a hit with high-mileage drivers.
Offering a class-leading 674-litre boot – rising to 1,910 litres with the rear seats folded and with up to 124 litres of storage in the front ‘frunk’ – the S6 EV will demonstrate how MG plans to blend practicality with zero-emission performance.
Business users will be particularly interested in its ultra-rapid charging capabilities, which can replenish the battery from 10% to 80% in some 38 minutes.
Geraint Isaac, deputy director of fleet at MG Motor UK, said: “By showcasing the IM5, S6 and S9 together, we will demonstrate a complete portfolio that meets every business need – from executive transport and electric SUVs to tax-efficient seven-seat family cars.”
As MG continues its rapid ascent in the UK market, its presence at the event will signal a shift to a robust contender in the premium and executive fleet sectors.
Fleets attending the Great British Fleet Event 2026 will be able to see MG’s power trio of strategic launches in the flesh.
GBFE 2026 returns to the Arena MK, Milton Keynes, on 16 April 2026, as the premier ‘3-in-1’ summit for the UK’s corporate motoring sector. This free-to-attend event combines a comprehensive exhibition, a series of expert-led Masterclasses and extensive networking opportunities.
The day’s events will be followed by the prestigious Great British Fleet Awards gala dinner in the evening, featuring keynote speaker Rocky Clark MBE.
