Opel Combo Life gets new three-cylinder petrol engine

Opel has added a new top-of-the-range petrol engine to the Combo Life range.

With 130hp, the new 1.2 Direct Injection Turbo is the top-of-the-line petrol engine in the Combo Life portfolio. The three-cylinder engine complies with Euro 6d and delivers a maximum 230Nm of torque at 1,750rpm and comes exclusively with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Fuel comsumption is rated at: urban 6.3-6.1l/100km, extra-urban 5.1-4.9l/100km, combined 5.6-5.3l/100km, while emissions are rated as 127-121g/km CO2.

Prices for the Opel Combo Life with this engine in the Edition trim start at €27,200 (RRP incl. VAT, in Germany).

In addition to the engine, the car comes with standard features including six-stage adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support and armrest, heated leather steering wheel with steering wheel remote control, power windows in front and air conditioning, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with an 8-inch touchscreen. There’s also a suite of driver assistance systems, such as automatic cruise control and speed limiter, front collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, hill-start assist, lane keep assist, as well as traffic sign recognition and driver drowsiness alert.
