Launched in 2013, the model has been updated with the latest family styling with a new front grille, wheel arch extensions and scuff plates plus an UltimateRed Colour.

The range also gains a new ‘GT Line’ trim as seen on the 208, 308 and 508 models, which sits above the Access, Active and Allure levels and offers a red/black coloured interior theme with 17-inch alloys and gloss black exterior details.

The interior offers a 7-inch multifunction colour touch screen plus head up instrument panel while on-board connectivity sees the addition of MirrorLink and Apple Carplay functionality. Driver assistance features include Active City Brake and Park Assist automated parking technology.

Maximum boot space rises from 1,194 litres to 1,400 litres thanks to new split folding seats and there is an additional 22-litre storage area under the boot lid. Total interior storage volume is 24 litres

Engine line-up is carried over and offers emissions ranging from 90g/km to 114g/km. A new six-speed EAT6 auto is now offered alongside the existing five and six-speed manuals.
