Škoda has updated the infotainment systems for the Elroq and larger Enyaq electric SUVs with new onboard entertainment features.

Drivers can now play Tetris via the Škoda infotainment system while parked up

Available via over-the-air updates for the Elroq plus the Enyaq (with software 4.0 and higher), the changes herald the arrival of AirConsole. This brings 15 games to the infotainment system, including the Škoda-exclusive Tetris, helping to liven up charging breaks.

At the same time, Škoda Play now offers tailored news and learning video content from authorised partners that include CNN, Reuters, Bloomberg and more. Video playback is available when the vehicle is parked.

Meanwhile, Spotify is integrated directly into the infotainment system, enabling seamless music and podcast streaming without a paired smartphone. Spotify content is accessible at any time.

All three infotainment features are included in the Media Streaming Package, available free of charge for the first three years in new vehicles.

In parallel with this, the Traffication application for current Škoda models introduces real-time Emergency Vehicle Approaching alerts to enhance support and safety.

The MyŠkoda app has also optimised its AI-supported route planner to provide more detailed configuration options, such as selecting charging stops near specific types of locations, limiting charging to Powerpass stations, or specifying a minimum battery level on arrival. These improvements offer greater planning flexibility, particularly on long-distance trips.
