Holman UK has appointed logistics veteran Nick Hay as its new managing director to drive growth in its vehicle leasing and fleet management sectors.

The appointment follows a planned leadership transition initiated by Nick Caller’s promotion to Holman’s global headquarters in the USA, during which Rick Tousaw, executive vice president of international operations, oversaw the UK business with David Hunt serving as interim managing director.

Hay joins Holman at a pivotal time as the business advances its ambitions in leasing and fleet lifecycle management, bringing a strong track record of driving growth and building high-performing teams across the automotive and logistics sectors.

He has more than 30 years’ experience in logistics, having served as managing director of Samworth Brothers Distribution, chief executive officer of Fowler Welch for 10 years and, most recently, CEO of supply chain specialist Gist.

I also want to personally thank David for his leadership and steady guidance during his time serving as interim managing director. Hay has spent his career at the heart of fleet operations, including overseeing in-house vehicle maintenance units at both Samworth Brothers and Gist.
